Mondays: We visit Nursing Homes & Assisted Living Centers

 

First Saturday of every month: we hold a Donation Garage Sale at 5610 Palmetto Dr.;  Ft. Pierce, FL (Indian River Estates, between Easy St. and Midway) This garage sale is aimed to serve both Global Heart and our community. The way it works is, you take what you need and leave what you can. We accept money, items or both.  For drop off or pick up call 772-332-0074.
 

We have a money drive all year long where we give away gift cards monthly for Wal-Mart, Publix and Winn Dixie to our community elders.

 

We give of our time to the children by teaching them the gift of reading

 

Global Heart has just launched our first group home for elderly people that do not have families, are in poor health and/or are low income.  Our intention is to provide a loving place where they can feel safe and loved.

We are looking to expand into more homes throughout the community to accommodate the the over flow of elders that are alone. We are not just looking for money but for people to follow their calling to serve.

 

Our vision is to unite our community and to create leaders that are ready to express the example of love. As we grow in numbers and financially our vision will grown. As it does we will touch not only our community but also our world.  Our purpose is to simply be here for God.

Please allow me to introduce you to Greg. He is Global Heart’s first roommate.  We have created a home with the intention of bringing elderly people together that do not have families, are in poor health and/or are low income.

Greg has throat cancer and is all alone in this world. He has no one to care, help or love him through this scary experience.  Only after a short time, Greg is feeling safe and right at home. He has expressed that he’s a bit scared though, because “he is feeling so good”.  Maybe his fears are because he thinks this love won’t last and he will be alone again. But we here at Global Heart and with the Grace of God are committed to our vision and will do everything in our powers to follow through.  Not only for Greg but for the sick, lonely and scared elders in our community. 

Our goal is to create a community that is supported by volunteers and donations. We believe that it is time for us to be a part of the solution and not depended solely on our government.

Lets us work together and be a part of the solution.

Global Hearts Ministry is dedicated to be part of the solution in creating a world that works for everyone.  This means that every person is important and every life has meaning. 

Through our outreach programs we are able to touch lives as our funds allow.  Our vision is to unite our Community as one Spiritual Family no matter what religion we follow. Right now Rev Celia alone and a handful of others are financing all that we do. 

We have been inspired to create a Solution for our growing needs in our community.  We at Global Heart believe that if we all come together and share at least one dollar a month we will raise enough funds to help our elders that are being neglected, growing challenge with our neighbors being hungry and becoming homeless, and more support for outreach programs for the children of our future.
